Our Groups
There are lots of meditation groups meeting regularly across Manchester and the North West. All are welcome. To find a group near you, please see the list below, or contact your local regional coordinator for further details. Click here to find your local coordinator.

Starting a
new group
What to do if there is no meditation group in your area.
You could consider starting a new meditation group yourself. But, you may say, I wouldn't feel able or qualified!
But there is support for you and a starter pack of Father John Main's teachings on Christian Meditation, to get you started and encourage you along the way.
You could visit an already established group and see how that is run. One common format is to play a talk by John Main and then do a period of silent medication practice together.
So don't worry about being qualified. The teaching will be delivered by John Main in the form of one of the hundreds of audio recorded talks that he left us, which was his legacy left to us, to continue the work.
So, to start a group all you really need is a CD player, a room, and one or two people. Remember what the Teacher said: where one or two are gathered in my name I am there among you!
